Course Description
This traineeship aims to impart the practical and theoretical skill, knowledge and attitude to produce skilled Landing Gear Technicians following the prescribed period of training to meet the demand for skilled practitioners within a specialist Landing Gear Workshop or Facility.
The training location will be divided between Finglas Training Centre, Dublin 11 and the Dublin Aerospace Landing Gear facility in Ashbourne, Co Meath.

Turbine Aeroplane Aerodynamics, Structures & Systems – EASA Category 1A Module 11A

Maintenance Practices – EASA Category 1A Module 7A
Materials And Hardware – EASA Category 1A Module 6
Physics – EASA Category 1A Module 2
Mathematics – EASA Category 1A Module 1

Entry Requirements
Education:
Leaving Certificate or Equivalent
Aptitude:
Numerical Ability Spatial Awareness – good eye to hand co-ordination and good hand skills
Previous Experience:
Previous experience in a technical / skills environment.
