Course Description
Autodesk Revit is a building information modelling software for architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, designers and contractors.
You will learn how to use Autodesk Revit software to produce 3D technical models for the construction sector. This will include the creation and editing of various construction components and the production of associated technical drawings.
The course will include Revit’s application as a tool in BIM (Building Information Modelling). You will also learn basic constuction knowledge to assist in using the software.

Entry Requirements
Education:
Leaving Certificate or relevant work experience
Aptitude:
Computer Literate with a proven interest in establishing a career in the Built Environment. Fluent in English (written and spoken) Basic Mathematics Spatial Awareness
Previous Experience:
Background in the Construction Sector (Desirable) Construction Skills at Leaving Certificate level or equivalent (Desirable)
Other:
Interest in the built environment
Good numerical and literacy skills
Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age and have good verbal and written communication skills
