Course Description
This course takes place on Saturday’s from 09.00 am to 3.30 pm and Wednesday’s from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm for 10 weeks. QQI Level 5 Certification is offered on this course. Candidates must have a good level of Business English.
On completion of the training programme learners will be able to list the sources of Irish law; explain the role of the constitution in the Irish legal system, the impact of European Law on Irish Law, the law of Tort and the practices and procedures applying to Civil Cases and Criminal Trials; apply associated theoretical legal concepts to given examples.

Entry Requirements
- Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age
- Applicants seeking entry to the programme should have achieved a minimum of a FETAC Level 4 Major Award or its equivalent prior to entry to the programme
- Good numerical and communication skills are essential, including verbal and written command of the English language
