The aim of the Traineeship is to provide learners with the skills and related knowledge in designing, building, configuring and troubleshooting ICT (Client/Server) Computer Networks and to develop their personal effectiveness and job seeking skills t0 enable them to obtain employment as Network Technicians.

 

Learning Outcome:

Learners will gain the skills, knowledge and competency to operate in the ICT Sectors as Computer and or Network Technicians

Learner Aptitude

A desire to work in ICT Must have an appropriate level of numeracy, written and verbal communication to support the technical content of the field of learning. Must possess basic computing skills which should include files structures, word processing; email etc. Ability to work in Teams / Groups to achieve outcomes.
