Finglas Training Centre works closely with employers to ensure that training programmes provided maintain a relevance to the needs of the labour market. Through the design, development and delivery of innovative training options, the Centre strives to ensure that graduates of our programmes prove compentent in their chosen area with skills relevant to employer needs.
Most courses incorporate a work experience or employment placement period to ensure that learners have the opportunity to consolidate their learning in a real world environment.
Should you have an employment vacancy, you should contact the Manager Finglas Training Centre who will endeavour to source suitable candidates to meet your employment needs. Arrangements can be made to visit the centre and visit those programmes where potential candidates are engaged in training. Candidates can be interviewed in the Training Centre ishould this be preferred.
Employers may be entitled to a grant towards the recruitment of new employees through the JobsPlus scheme. JobsPlus is an incentive from the Department of Social Protection (DSP) to encourage and reward employers who offer employment opportunities to the long term unemployed.
