The course duration is 16 weeks. There are no fees. This is a continuous intake online course.

This course is available to all adults over the age of 18 resident in the Republic of Ireland.

Participants are required to have completed the CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent. If participants do not have this qualification but have prior industry experience in Networking and/or IT Administration, they may be granted access to the course.

If participants do not have any of the above, they should complete the CompTIA Network+ course or the CompTIA A+ course if new to the IT sector.

The provider for this course is Cenit College, and your learning will be delivered through the eCollege online learning environment. When you complete your application you will receive an email with your access details, and when you log into the platform you will see details of how to contact your course tutor. You can contact your course tutor at any time.

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11) or MacOS (the most recent version is Sonoma).

The exam is taken online and is 90 minutes in duration. There are up to 90 questions with a pass mark of 750 (on a scale of 100-900).

No specific software is needed for this course. Although the tutor may recommend the use of free or trial tools.
