This online course explains the fundamental concepts and technologies relating to database development and administration.

Topics include relational databases, SQL (Transact SQL, both DDL, DML), how to create a database, how to manipulate data in a database, the purpose of tables, queries, data types, normalisation, stored procedures, and administering a database: database security concepts and backup types.

This course will help to prepare learners who want to pursue a career as a Database Administrator or Database Developer.
