The Cisco certification is an internationally recognised industry-standard qualification for anyone in an IT and networking role. The CCNA certification certifies a technician’s ability to install, setup, configure, troubleshoot and operate a medium-sized routed and switched computer network. This also includes implementing and verifying connections to a wide area network.

This course explores application protocols and delves into their relationship with the protocols and services provided by the Transport, Internet, Data Link and Physical layers of the network. The course will encompass the basics of Routing – both static and dynamic and incorporates the configuration and implementation of routing protocols. Simulation-based activities, using Packet Tracer, allow Learners to design, build and configure multiple networks. With a wide variety of equipment and features to choose from, Learners are encouraged to experiment with different topologies and observe network traffic flow.

Achieving CCNA certification is the first step in preparing for a career in IT technologies. To earn CCNA certification, you pass one exam that covers a broad range of fundamentals for IT careers, based on the latest networking technologies, software development skills, and job roles.
