NLN COLLEGE EAST – STEP UP – LEVEL 4 – STP

National Learning Network provides training and specialist support to people who, for various reasons, may find it challenging to gain employment. NLN provides nationally accredited education and training services to a broad spectrum of people aged 16 or older including individuals with a disability, who are neurodivergent including autistic people with a general or specific learning disability, who have had an accident or injury, with long term illnesses impacting their daily lives or experiencing anxiety/depression or other mental health challenges.
Programme Aim
The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to develop the relevant knowledge, skills, and competence to use a range of skills and tools, under direction and with limited autonomy, related to seeking employment. It enables the learner to develop personal qualities and strengths to make informed choices to pursue a range of employment opportunities or to progress to further education or training.
National Learning Network delivers this STP course, which is designed to give students an opportunity to explore personal, social, and vocational skills. Students will progress to greater levels of independence, manage health and well-being, and participate in their own communities, workplaces, and society. It can help boost self-confidence and improve social skills.
