This 2 year programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence in a range of sports, recreation and exercise activities to work in a variety of sports related contexts and or to progress to higher education and training.

The aim of this 2 year programme is to enable the learner to acquire the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to develop personal proficiency in a range of sport and recreation activities, to work under supervision in a sport and recreation context and or to progress to further education and training. College East is National Learning Network’s flagship college. We provide a range of free courses to people who have experienced a setback, have had an accident, a mental health issue, an illness, injury or have a disability and extra support needs.

On completion of this programme learners will have the skills, knowledge and competencies to develop personal proficiency in a range of sport and recreation activities, to work under supervision in a sport and recreation context and or to progress to further education and training.
