VTCT – Level 1 Certificate in an Introduction to Hair and Beauty Sector 500/6839/8 – AM10035 – GLH 119-140
The aim of this award is to develop learners practical skills through introducing learners to the hair and beauty industry. During the course learners will have an opportunity to choose from a range of hair and beauty units. This award is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA).

VTCT – Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques 500/9039/2 – AB20086 – GLH 456 – 473
The aim of this programme is to provide learners seeking a career as an employed and/or self-employed beautician/beauty specialist with the skills, knowledge and competency to become industry certified beauty specialists.

VTCT L2 Diploma in Beauty Service 500/9127/X – AB20182
The aim of this programme is to enable learners develop the skills required to provide facial skin care, manicure and pedicure treatments, apply make-up and be able to create an image based on a theme within the hair and beauty sector to clients.

Employability Statement
On successful completion of the VTCT Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques applicants will (depending on awards acquired) be able to source employment as a beauty therapist in a salon or spa or become self employed and provide a broad range of specialist beauty treatments to clients.
