Course Description

The aim of this course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to operate and maintain accurate payroll records using both manual and computerised systems, for an organisation, working under general direction and supervision. On successful completion of the programme, learners may progress to further education and training.

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age
  • Applicants seeking entry to the programme should have achieved a minimum of a FETAC Level 4 Major Award or its equivalent prior to entry to the programme
  • Good numerical and communication skills are essential, including verbal and written command of the English language
