Course Description
The aim of the course is to provide the participants with the skills knowledge and competence which will enable them to use T.I.G. Welding equipment safely and correctly.
Employability Statement
On successful completion of the Metlab award in TIG welding applicants will be able to source employment in the area of TIG welding in the horizontal, vertical and overhead positions and complete ‘lapp fillet’ and ‘tee fillet’ joints.
Candidates who are in employment wishing to take a place on this course may qualify for the Skills to Advance Initiative where a fee waiver applies once certain criteria is met. For further information please contact the Night Training Office on 01-8140256
